It is our goal to connect licensed family child care providers with the resources and information they need to be successful business owners and respected teachers of young children. We recognize the important role providers play in supporting children, families and the community.

The Mission of HLFCA:

Our mission is to empower, advocate for, and support Licensed Family Childcare Professionals of Hennepin County, valuing the unique resources and diversity they provide to young children and their families.

There are currently openings on the HLFCA Board for providers with a desire to be more involved. In addition, nominations are being accepted for the positions of Vice President and Secretary through September 19, 2011. Elections will take place at the annual membership meeting on Octoober 15.
